Background
Jolene together with her husband Dr. Jacob Head have owned and operated the practice since 2007. She has been in the veterinary industry since 1998 working first as an assistant in a general practice and progressing on to being a nurse in an emergency critical care practice. She manages the practice, does the AQS inspections for pets arriving in Hawaii, assists in surgery and works as a veterinary nurse. She write the very popular Pet Chronicles and Pikes Corner as part of the Hospital advertising each Friday in the West Hawaii today. She loves to cook and hates messes. When she is not doing all of thee above, she spends the rest of her time chasing after their 3 children and spending time with her husband.

Background
Bridget was born and raised in Kona. Bridget has worked as a veterinary nurse at KVH since 2007. She enjoys working with animals and hanging out with her family and friends. On her days off she can be found adventuring either on the ocean or the land. She is always up to learning or doing something new. She is an invaluable member of our veterinary team and we could not do what we do with out her.

Kelly moved to Hawaii 4 years ago from Chicago where she was working in Veterinary Medicine. She has been providing services to clients at Kona International airport for the last 4 years as a Direct Release Coordinator. She loves Red Vines but any Licorice will do.

Pike was adopted form the HIHS we adopted him because no one wanted a damaged dog in need of care. We brought him to work and after several repairs he became a member of our family and a member of our Keauhou Veterinary Hospital team. He is our ambassador and is the “author ” of our advertising Column each Friday in The West Hawaii Today called Pike’s Corner.
